Spring market is fast approaching!

A lovely day for quilting here in Nebraska. A bit dreary but much better than the snow last week. We always have to have just one more snow before we can really call it spring, it just usually comes before mid-April!

As many of you know Spring Market is in Portland this year and is coming up quick! I am ecstatic to be heading to the beautiful Pacific Northwest to attend Market, go to some classes, see all the newest things coming out and meet up with friends. Will take be taking lots of pictures!

Taking a few extra days to get outside and see all the beauty of Oregon, it’s my first trip to this part of the country and I can wait... I feel like a kid waiting for Santa to come!

I saw the photo and immediately got chills. Up until about six years ago, I lived on the western coast of WA. We were fortunate enough to live close to a rain forest. Saying it is gorgeous doesn't really do it justice.
We also traveled extensively in Oregon. I'll never forget the first time I saw Crater Lake. It's hard to believe that was formed by a meteorite!
Every day we can look around and see God's work around us in everything beautiful in Nature... Whether it's a member of an Endangered Species or one of our disappearing rain forests, it is obvious we have a responsibility to do our part to assure the continued success of the natural world.
